These little books and series are her favorites and she almost always has one with her. Ramona books (good old-fashioned Beverly Cleary from back in the day) These are the books she loves to read right now: I’m totally fine with those choices because he’ll read them, but seriously, if you have other chapter book recommendations for young boy readers, I would love some! He basically checks the same things out at the library too…so, I’d love to be able to suggest some other books to him. I mean…the school sends home those Scholastic Book Club flyers every month, and he picks those every time. His books of choice right now are any sort of Ninja Turtle or Lego book. He thinks this is so cool, so score one for mom. At night, I’ll let him turn off all of his lights and read in bed with his little book light. I bought him a little book light and a super hero book mark that he LOVES. Now, I am encouraging this with good old-fashioned bribery. Smith has recently become a fan of chapter books. I am having an easier time with Kensington…it’s harder for me to come up with boy books for Smith. #prettyplease I have two little readers at my house and I try as hard as I can to encourage them to find books they love so that they continue to want to read. Now…I’m basically doing this post so that you awesome people will share your recommendations with the group. Today’s post is about books for little readers.
